I am interested in your organization, but still just in the curious phase. My passion is less in Star Wars (while I am a fan, I might not be as much as some of you) and more so in the costuming and charity events. I'd be just as interested in a general sci-fi type organization, but you guys seem to do some very cool things with your events. Hence, why I am just curious. However, I did have a question. The school my kids attend is having a FAME festival March 21-22nd at the Grand Wayne Center. And they have listed that you can have "Photo moments with Darth Vader & Storm Troopers & Jedi" I immediately thought of the 501st, but I don't see it listed on your events page. Is that not you guys? |

Welcome! I don't see anything in our events section about an event this weekend... Not sure what that's about. Anyone else want to chime in on this? |

I figured out what's going on. It's on a flyer to the parents you can download off of their website. They're Rubie's costumes. Expensive, low quality, nowhere near screen accurate retail versions of Star Wars characters. They are not our members. You wanna see REAL costumes, come hang with us. We don't buy 'em, we make 'em, and they're the best you'll get next to screen used suits

Actually, Caleb was correct. They're is the correct usage, as a contraction of they are. There insinuates direction. |
