Hello everyone! From the Saint Joseph, Mishawaka area. i have been following the 501st for a few years now and decided that i thought it would be nice to be apart of what they do. so i looked up nearby garrisons and found you guys. I honestly didnt think there was a garrison nearby, but i would love to know how i would get started to becoming part of the 501st. |

Hey Travis, welcome to our forums! The best way to begin your involvement is to do just that: be involved! Post to the forums here, get to know us, etc. If you haven't decided on a costume yet (you must be at least 18 years of age and have a completed, approved costume before you can "officially" join the 501st Legion), there are many avenues of support to pursue. If you have an idea of what costume you'd like to build, we can help you out and point you in the right direction. |

Ok! thank you! i would love to be involved. i am over the age of 18 with an idea of a costume. i read a few of the regulations of what is acceptable. |

Welcome! We have two troops coming up in your area this week. We will be at the campaign against cancer tomoorw morning from 10-12ish http://ndgarrison.com/ndforum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=1041 and the South bend cubs game on 5/4. Come on out and say high if you have time we also have a few meet and greet sessions and open armor parties as well.. keep an eye on the forums and dont hesitate to ask questions on any costume you maybe interested in -Duff |
