Hey I'm Cordell from Wabash, and I am wanting to join as a scout trooper. I have already been on the pathfinder's forum and saw that Moncal Far Away Creations had some pretty good respect from the guys on that forum. I would like to know from some of the Local scouts on how to get started so I can join as soon as possible. |

Hello and welcome. I would strongly encourage you to go with another armor maker versus MOncal. His wait times are ridiculous and some people have had issue with his ABS. I'm a scout and my armor is Studio Creations. I love it |

Hello! I'm not sure if you have plans but this weekend we are having a Meet and Greet in Hobart on Saturday at Games Inn @1pm. I will be bringing my Scout for display and there will be at least 2 more scouts. We would love for you to come, we could show you up close how the costume is put together and a look at different armor makers. I have a Kropserkel. |

Hello and welcome! Only go with moncal armor if you feel like waiting years for anything to get done, want next to zero communication from the maker, and what little communication you do get to be a variety of excuses. From back when I was looking at doing a scout I was going to go with Studio Creations. |

Studio Creations is currently the best bang for your buck and they will deliver in a timely manner. The majority of our scouts use therir armor. quite a few have switched out the bucket (Helmet) to a different vendor but that's user preference. the SC bucket tends to run a little smaller than the others so depending on you size you might be better off sourcing an Altmans or Kropcircle for your bucket. |

Cool, thanks for the info. I can not make it to the events this weekend, but I will keep checking on facebook for upcoming meet and greets. I will check out Studio creations, and the other types of buckets. |

I am not a scout, just a dirty storm trooper (aka Sand Trooper), but I will say anything 'Thebeardprevails' says you must and have to go with. Jim Brock for the win. LOL #jujubowaitsfornomanorarmor |
