Hey everybody. I guess this is the place to tell a little about your self which means I did some of this bss aackwards. Sorry. My name is Marcus and I live in Kendallville and If you ask me a question about STAR WARS I either know it or it was a bad question. just kidding!!! But I am a worshiper of the STAR WARS universe. There is nothing I would rather do than talk, watch, quote, play or think about than STAR WARS......except maybe eat???? Well I love having fun and nothing is as fun as STAR WARS. I just received my Shadow trooper armor and I have no idea how to put it together. I have watched many you tube vids on assembling but I do not understand them. What I need is someone to help me assemble it, pizza and pop are on me!!! Are there any other Shadow troopers in the NDG? I have all the armor but I am ordering the helmet from a guy in Poland (Arakyel) who I am told makes great high quality buckets. I am still unclear as to what to use as a body glove for under my armor. I do not have anything other then my armor yet. You can get a good shadow trooper helmet from ATA too!

Yep! I purchased a white stormie helmet from him for a great price, and it's beautiful.

I would highly recommend emailing him at ataworks@yahoo.com and asking him what options he has for shadow bucket kits.

Also, if I may ask, where did you pick up your shadow stormie from?

One of the guys on FISD told me about a vendor on ebay. I was not sure since everyone says to stay away eBay. So I asked around for info on the guy and got back nothing but good news from a lot of people. So I ordered it from this guy mypropcollection is the name of the business. This guys out of Anaheim CA. It took a week to receive it and it came with every piece individually wrapped. It looks like great stuff. It is black ABS of some special type and seems pretty sturdy. It came with some straps, shiny aluminum buttons and some other stuff. The only thing it did not come with is the helmet. It is genuine AM and only comes in black at the moment. When I ordered it he said he had several in stock. Go onto eBay and in the item bar put in this number 290823285669 incase he decides to show more for sale. I hope this answers your questions. Oh I also paid a total $406 If I remember correctly. The armor was $370 and then you have to add shipping on to that. If you buy it let me know.

EBay isn't always bad.I've gotten several pieces from there,and have been screwed on there.just as I have gotten pieces from prop makers and have gotten screwed on deals with them too.it's whether you are willing to take the chance

ok everyone, i've been in lengthy talks w/ Marcus here about getting this armor put together. can a few of us coordinate and get together for a day? i've got the space still (but only for a few more weeks) and most of the supplies we'd need. I just need a hand or two. i've been swamped with the moving process (buying the new house and getting the rental situation of our current house in order), but i should be able to get a weekend day (or at least morning/first half of day) available. let me know. i'm also gonna put up a message on the facebook since some members tend to check that more often...

TX huh, nice choice! I've never put AM armor together before, but it cant be too far from the other kits I've done. I'd be willing to help ya out for a few hours on a weekend day. I'm talking with Derek now about what day our schedules correlate. Hopefully we can get ya down here for a few hours and put ya in the right direction. Its not really that hard, but I know the feeling of wanting to do it right the first time... We'll help ya out =P

As for buckets, I agree with all the others, ATA is a fabulous helmet for a good price. I own one myself!
