I reached out on facebook and email and finally got a response on Sept 11th. Said shipping label and invoice was printed and order was ready to ship once I paid balance. I paid balance that very same day.
I gave it a week and sent an email asking when it would or has shipped. The following is the cluster that is their business practice.

Now they are saying that it still isn't packaged and shipping out. I got another email saying it will be a couple more weeks. I'm about ready to activate the paypal claim on my last payment.

How much total have you paid them? It seems that this is becoming more common. We really are going to have to start calling these people out cause this practice is wrong. We're all suppose to be brothers and helping each other out not screwing each other!! I feel you don't take money unless you have the merchandise to ship out!! I'm so tired of these guys overextending themselves and making people wait so long. Sorry to hear your having this trouble.

This is horrible! I'm sorry you've been having to wait so long, sounds like he may be good at making the stuff but not so much the business end of things.

Does anyone know if MonCal and FarAwayCreations are the same person? FarAway is working on a Kallus armor I'm interested in. But if it's the same, I will look elsewhere.

Ive paid $558 total. Ive have until October 25th for the paypal claim on my last payment of $300. Not sure what i want to do since I already have everything else for this snowy and I need this as a back up suit to my Fett.

Bottom line. They've not made good on ANY email they have sent. Im sure the quality is top notch but they are TERRIBLE business people. Whatever happens with this order they will not get ANOTHER dime of my money.

This is a struggle I've had on TDH. The moderators get all bent about holding people accountable and calling them out. Enough is enough in my opinion. JUNE was my arrival date for this armor. If there are a couple delays then thats fine. But to tell me its done and ready to go, then tell me its not packaged when it was, then say it will be a couple more weeks ???I have a hard time with that.

***UPDATE ON MY ORDER

To recap this and to inform anyone looking into MON CAL Stuff and whats to be expected.

My order was due in JUNE.
I was told June 17th I was #3 on there list.
September 11th I was told its ready, shipping invoice printed and just needs to be packaged up.
September 22nd I checked in and they stated I didn't pay. I then showed screen shots of Paypal.
October 2nd - I was told it would be 2 more weeks!

That's too bad, I'm so tired of people making promises then not delivering! We all work hard for our money and some of us have a hard time saving up for things like this. We trust these people cause there 501st then they screw us WTF!! I totally understand the time restraints but if your telling people there on the list and even given a date of delivery then stick with it if or don't take the money up front!! I ran into this time and time again looking for add ons like electronics and fan kits. People advertised there product then when I asked about ordering they were like oh yeah I'm not making those any more. WTF!!!! Why are they being advertised if your not making it any more. It was really starting to piss me off!! I got to the point that I just found the parts I needed and made it myself. But your situation is way different and it sucks!!!

It's not just 501st either. I was on another collector forum that shall remain nameless, and people were doing the same thing. Oh yeah, I got that, pay me now and I might ship in 6 months. Or " the mail lost it." People who do this need to be called out for their actions, if not to be held accountable to their customer, then for other potential customers to be made wary. If they are just allowed to get away with it, then why change?
